Why I Created 80 Animal Illustrations

What started as a small passion project for my daughter gradually grew into an educational app that is now used by families, teachers and schools in many countries around the world. The idea began shortly before my daughter started school, when she asked me if I could teach her the alphabet.

That simple question became a project that I still develop independently today — from concept and illustrations to animations, programming and ongoing updates. For ABC with Yeti, I personally illustrated 80 animals, from Alligator to Zebra. Every character was carefully designed to help children connect letters with memorable images and meaningful words.

Many alphabet apps use the same examples for every language. ABC with Yeti takes a different approach. Each language uses carefully selected animals and words that reflect the actual vocabulary children encounter in their native language. This creates a more authentic learning experience and helps expand vocabulary alongside reading and writing skills.
